Seroconversion after 7 weeks
      #98637 - 05/12/04 07:02 AM

What are the chances of having a negative test result at 7 weeks with 3rd generation Elisa and then going onto having a positive result at 13 weeks. Does anyone have any idea percentage wise

My exposure was low risk giving oral sex.

According to Gman, oral exposure is NO risk as the only 2 documented cases frm the CDC are questionable at best.

I know that, but it dosn't make it any easier when one month after exposure, you hav a week of diarrhea, get swollen glands in your groin, armpits and neck (no poking invloved) and lose 6lbs in weight. Took Elisa 7 weeks after exposure, negative. Done my 3 month test last week and getting results next week. By the way still have swollen glands, but not as bad as before. The odds are in my favour, but you never know. All I was just really wondering was has anyone heard of someone doing 7 week Elisa 3rd gen, being Neg and then doing 3 months and being Pos.
