what kind of test is this? elisa? and is it just as good as any other test you would get at a clinic?

I dont trust those tests because if it was poz how could you confirm it ? I would go to a clinic

Home Access is the only FDA Approve Home HIV test.

it can be trusted. It is accurate after 13 weeks. But the only problem is if you are POZ they can't do a confirmatory test.

Actually, instead of doing a WB on a positive ELISA test, they do an IFA which is another confirmatory test. Thus, if you test positive on an ELISA, Home Access confirms it with an IFA--so its the same as a clinic. They just won't run a full second series of tests. Lets try to get facts straight before we post, yes?
