Hi Guys,
I have a question: If I would have been infected with syphilis about FOUR YEARS ago, would I have noticed by now? I do remember having a small pimple-like thing near my penis. It was a small pimple, it was quite sensitive and sometimes it bled a little. I don't know if I had a rash or something like that afterwards. After four years, would I have noticed other symptoms. I am quite afraid, since I know yuou can DIE from syphilis. Also, after four years, can I still get treatment? Or would I be too late?

Go get tested. It can be cured. But it will be recovered if damage to certain organ already there. Go now!! Don't wait!!

Syphilis is bacterial and can be treated with Antibiotics. Even if you are in secondary stages of the disease. What you dont want is for it to create permanent damage. Your doctor can run a broad spectrum STD test that would detect it. Go get the test as soon as you can .
