I need questions answered. I have had a risky encounter about 11 weeks ago - unprotected insertive anal. Have tested negative at 28 and 60 days so far. Continuing symptoms include: frequent urination, bowel movements, white tongue, weight loss, muscle soreness.
I've called numerous help lines that tell me 95-98% of people test positive within 6-8 weeks. I tested negative 3 weeks past my ARS period. Should I have had enough antibodies by then? I'll be testing again at 90 days. Any help or reassurances would be greatly appreciated!

An 8-week negative is an excellent indicator of what your 13 week result will be. Yes, your percentages are correct. 95% of people who are going to seroconvert, do so by week 6. Get your 13 week test and collect what I expect to be a negative result.
Keep in mind, there are other STIs that you can get from unprotected anal sex much easier than HIV. You should be screened for the following:
Syphillis Gonorrhea Chlamydia Herpes Hepatitis B & C (If non-reactive for Hep B, get the vaccine. If you have been vaccinated, a Hep B panel is not needed.)
