Medical Question
      #94071 - 04/01/04 02:15 PM

Wondering more about the why than the matching up of a symptom.

Folks talk about HIV symptoms. It seems like a dry mouth, lymph nodes swollen, shortness of breath top the list of what people "match up" as symptoms.

My question isn't to dispute if these are sypmtoms or not. My question is what CAUSES these symptoms in HIV postive people. Obviously, the "sick" symptoms like swollen lymph nodes, nausea, weight loss, etc. are common for a myriad of sicknesses. But how about a dry mouth and shortness of breath? What causes this?
