I had a very brief oral sex encounter with a stripper at a golf tournament involving drinking a shot of alocohol on her vaginal area. I tested negative at 47 days after exposure. However, I have been having night sweats and dry mouth for about 4 weeks now starting at around day 45. Has anyone heard of getting HIV in such a fashion ?
Scared

There are only three ways of transmission of HIV, and that is not one of them. Maybe you should educate yourself on how this is transmitted. It seems funny to me that when HIV has been around for over twenty years so many people are still ignorant to how the disease is transmitted. Education is the key but I guess people still think this is an easy disease to contract, which it is not.

Gman - Thanks for the reply and I apologize for being ignorant. Isn't it possible to get vaginal fluid in the mouth during such an act ?
Thanks.

A person can be infected by performing oral sex to a HIV+ individual; however, oral sex is considered a low risk practice. Please retest after three months of the exposure. Your results more likelly are going to be negative.
