Please help me. I recently received a lap dance from a stripper who had touched vagina and then her breast. Within a minute or two I briefly licked her nipple. I am scared to death that I might have contracted HIV this way. Actually, if I did, I deserve it. But I do not want to infect my wife. Should I tell her. Please give me some advice. Quickly!

HIV is transmitted in one of three ways:
1.) Unprotected receptive/insertive anal or vaginal sex and (rarely) receptive oral sex.
2.) Blood to blood contact through needlestick exposure.
3.) Mother to infant
What you describe poses no risk for HIV transmission. In order for HIV to infect, the virus needs to attach itself to the cells of your immune system. It achieves this through direct contact with your mucous membranes or with direct contact with your bloodstream through a needlestick exposure. Also, even if the stripper was infected and had vaginal fluid on her nipple, once HIV leaves the human body it can no longer replicate itself and dies. HIV needs an airtight transmission route to infect.
