Anemia?

Does anyone know what is the typical symptoms for anemia? I recently experienced bruises easily which had never happened to me before. I was a very healthy person and bruise or cuts on me got healed very quickly. People told me that low red blood cell can cause such problems. Is it true? I had a low risk encounter about 1 1/2 months ago(protected sex. this incidence bothers all the time and can never get out of my mind. Appreciate input from anybody. Thanks.

Yes, it is. But not sure at what stage it will start symptoms.
