how do u get it and know u have it when your born?

i posted beforeand stuff, and im just wondering...i got great answers that said since we didnt have sex before with other people we arent at risk...but then how do we know one of us wasnt born with it? would we like know when we went to the docters and got blood tests ro something if we were

Your mother would have needed to be infected for you to be born with it. And your entire childhood would have been spent on medications and being tested.
HIV is transmitted one of three ways:
1.) Unprotected receptive or insertive anal sex, unprotected receptive or insertive vaginal sex, and (rarely) receptive oral sex.
2.) Needlestick exposure-Blood to blood contact through either sharing needles or occupational exposure.
3.) Mother to infant
