Oral HIV testing

I hear that clinics (not sure if all clinics) also give out oral HIV tests. Is that true? What do they do with that and are they reliable??

most clinics do. Its called the Orasure test. They place this thing that looks like a toothbrush in your mouth for 2-3 minutes and it collects oral fluids (not saliva) that contain HIV antibodies. its considered just as accurate as standard blood tests from what ive read.
