I recall Dr Rick S. stating that if you test negative while displaying symptoms you can at least know that the symptoms are not HIV related. But what i dont recall is if he meant only with a 3 or 6 month test. I tested negative with an Elisa hiv 1/2 second generation test at 47 days, maybe to soon to detect? My three month mark is next week. Would a negative result at this point mean any symptoms still present are probably not HIV related. I would appreciate any input.
