Tingle in Urethra

I have had this abnormal sensation of ''1-second-tingling'' sensations inside my urethra, usually inside the head of the penis for several weeks now. The tingling sensation occurs 4-7 times a day, it just comes and go sporadically. What could be the cause?

Any number of things could cause it, or it could be nothing at all. Have you done anything recently that would make you think you have a STI?
