Sigh....
      #7444 - 07/21/00 06:28 PM

As I sit here and write this, I am confused with life. Why did I do what I did? In late January, I engaged in mutual masturbation with a prostitute. Never experienced strong ARS symptoms...tested (Orasure) after 8 1/2 weeks, negative. Now, as I was taking a shower today, I was thinking about the whole thing and I remembered she played with herself, not too long, before she masturbated me. Now I am so worried that I could have picked up something...I can't bring myself to go back in to get tested...any suggestions???

You're negative, but get tested to prove it to yourself. If you are not negative, you will be in the record books as the first person in the world who got hiv this way.

Come on...you don't even need a test. PERIOD. Let's be realistic out here. Forgive yourself of the guilt you feel and have a good life...

Don't sweat it man. You are sooooo negative it isn't even worth testing. But if you are so hung up on it, it will be well worth it to you to spend the time and effort to get a test. DO NOT WORRY IT WILL CERTAINLY BE NEGATIVE.

I am not the best person to give advice on how to deal with anxiety, but your risk is similar to mine, very low risk, and if you don't have any symptoms a test now should definitely clear you. Getting tested your best choice.

Good luck

HIV is NOT easy to get --so you are NOT at risk for this. You need fluids to ENTER your BLOODSTREAM TO GET HIV!!! And HIV dies after seconds in contact with the air. You are feeling guilt nothing else.
If you want there's a slight chance that you were at risk for other stds. But slight.
Good luck!

I agree too. You've got an extrememly row risk there. You really don't need to get tested. But I also know that if this keeps on bugging you, testing is the only way to get it out of your mind. Good Luck! I'm sure you'll be fine.
