All of your glands would be swollen, not just the ones in your neck. The diarrhea is most likely stress related. Regardless of what you are feeling, you shouldn't judge your HIV status by symptoms alone. How long ago was this encounter?

Okay, so you are halfway there. Doing a test now would be a good indicator of your status, but only a 12 week test is definitive. I know that another six weeks sounds like a long time, but you will make it.

Let's analyze your risk a little further. Did he ejaculate inside of you? If he didn't, that would lower your risk. The risk of unprotected receptive vaginal sex with ejaculation is 0.2%. That is assuming he was HIV+ to begin with.

In any case, unprotected sex carries a risk for hiv and std transmission. I suggest that you have a PCR RNA/DNA at this time to look for the presence of hiv in your blood. Otherwise, a EIA test that needs to be repeated at week 13.
Good luck.
