Scared to Death...Please help....

On March 20 I met a woman who I suspect had HIV. I don't even know this persons full name so there is no way of me contacting them. Anyway, this one-night stand has been the worst mistake of my life. I have had a re-occurring sore throat/swollen glands for over a month. I was tested after 7 weeks and 13 weeks both were negative. I will be seeing a specialist, but fear that I will seroconvert.
My question is this, has anybody been diagnosed with hiv by performing unprotected oral sex on a woman?? Does anyone know of other causes of reoccuring swollen glands/sore throat?
Please help, I've not been able to sleep in fear...

u tested neg at 13 weeks which is a GOLD standard. what else do you want ? who else can convince you ? what else you need to be convinced about ?. ur fine and most of all lucky. take a breather and move on.. do not be obsessed with seroconversion. i know its hard, but u got keep going. this is another chance for u to live life to the fullest !!

David, You do not have HIV.. you performed oral sex on her, this is very low risk.. give it up and move forwad.. test for mono.. I have swollen nodes and a sore throat.. I tested neg after 5mo test... good luck, don't torture yourself

I'm in the same boat with you. A woman performed oral sex on me in Jan 04, and I have had a sore throat on and off for seven months now. I know that an unexplained long lasting sore throat is a symptom of HIV. But if you don't test positive after 3 months, then you don't have HIV. I gotta get tested one more time, then I'm in the clear. Consider yourself lucky and remember this,dont eat pussy unless its your wife!

Oral sex on a woman is minimal risk. You tested negative at 13 weeks after such a low risk incident, you are negative so let it go before you waste another moment of your life on this matter.
