Does hiv really only survive for 10 mins outside the body?Is this regardless if the blood is wet or dry? When we say 10 mins does that mean a small amount of blood or large amounts also? Finally if hiv dies after 10 mins does that mean that only after that amount of time will the blood be unable to infect or does it lose its ability to infect as soon as it exits the body?

Hi, i'm answering in regards to your question. It depends on the amount of blood, semen, breastmilk or vaginal fluid that is left outside the body, a drop of fluid that contains HIV wouldnt last even 30 seconds. Alot of people do the wrong thing and could get infected because of "very brief" information, if someone asks about how HIV is transmitted then you should be deep and explain every possible way that it can be transmitted.
