I am devastated after having unprotected insertive oral sex with a black prostitute 42 days ago.
first and the biggest stupid mistake I've done in my life.

I cannot believe this happens to me.
I tried to be optimistic but now is too much.
six more weeks to wait before confirmation of hiv.
I started to take tranquilizants.
who said the risk is zero?

Actually, the risk is never "zero"! Especially when there is visible blood. However, don't go into panic mode just yet. Insertive oral is still a less risky way of contracting HIV than anal or vaginal sex. Don't diagnose yourself based on symptoms! There are literally numbers of things that cause the stuff you named. I know it is hard to relax, however, do what you must until the 90 window period passes. Then get tested! Let us know what you find out! Stay well....and hang in there!

Do you really think that after 20 years you are going to be the 1st EVER confirmed case of transmission from a blow job? Deciding you are positive before even getting conclusive results is a great way to bring on all sorts of health problems due to stress. Relax, I doubt that you are that special.

thanks for encouraging me.
till now I was a very common guy, not special at all.
I've never won the lottery prize and GOD help me not to win this one but the symptoms, especially fever and joint pains drive me crazy.

The symptoms only drive you crazy because of the paranoia about HIV. Its understandable. Most of us in here have gone through what you are feeling. As I said in my first reply, hang in there! I am betting you are NEG! WOO-HOO!

Statistics and logics tell me that I should not worry so much.
But the symptoms are all perfect.
And believe me I'm not paranoiac.
The last chance for me is to have EBV or CMV which have similar symptoms but odds are minimal.
Here is what happens five weeks after exposure:
- daily fever with no nasal congestion and no sore throat.
- joints aches
- myalgia
- enlarged lymphs on the neck
- loss appetite
- diarrhea 2 days
- nausea
Beside this I’ve just done a blood test and the results: WBC=3700 is below the lower limit.
No hepatitis and no other anomalies detected.
I was a healthy person and I have never got such symptoms before.
So please don’t bet on me. I’m afraid soon I’ll write a documented page of history in HIV.

Symptoms are all perfect for what? The stuff you named are indicative of all sorts of things! The only story you will be writing will be "Lifestyles of the Worried Well"!
