i am female and went out with a guy about 6 times over the past few weeks. i really liked him and we had sex 2 times in one night - that was the only time we did it.
we did not use a condom but he pulled out. well, after we had sex, he dumped me the next week. it was the only time we had sex and i asked him if he has any stds and said no - but now ... i find out he has a girlfriend!
we do not speak but now i am worried about stds - i know, its after the fact -
should i test and if so when?
i have read other posts from females and i feel i will be ok but then again ..........
i am scared - what have i done!

hey there,
There is a risk with unprotected vaginal sex , but it is FAR MORE lesser than unprotected anal sex , from a one time encounter.
Might i suggest you try and ask him to go for a test , along with you , so that you can put this thing behind you.
Don't worry.....HIV is a very delicate pathogen and rather difficult to transmit from a one off encounter.That being said , it would be better to insist on your male friends wearing a condom(every time you have sex..........better yet , findout if they are really sincere about having a relationship , by not bringing sex into the equation for awhile.That way , you'll know if they are really interested in you.
I was chastissed the other day for insisting on having sex by this girl.She wanted us to go get tested TOGETHER for ALL the STDs and HIV of course , and it MADE SENSE .Please be more careful next time !

no condom, he pulled out - we had 6 dates, the sex sucked, he was so so nice till he dumped me -
he says he doesnt have hiv -
what are my chances if he is lying?
