bladder infection?
      #63752 - 04/16/03 01:10 PM

I have another question...I'm waiting to get my results back in a week, so I'm trying not to freak out, but today I feel like I could be starting to get a bladder infection. Is this a symptom? I haven't had sex recently so I know it's not from that...maybe I don't have one, but I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas. Thanks.

Yeast Infections, Bladder Infections, Molluscum. Keep this up and you will convince yourself you bypassed initial HIV infection and have gone straight to full blown before the end of the week. Don't turn yourself in to a nutcase looking for things that are wrong with you.

yes, i almost have convinced myself of that!! I know I'm being stupid...but I'm just not usually sick very often at all so I'm driving myself crazy! Sorry for those of you who are tired of me trying to diagnose myself.

Not tired of you trying to diagnosis yourself, just worried about what it is doing to you.

I've seen many times on this board where people get so wrapped up in what they have decided are sure symptoms of HIV that when they get their negative results they can't believe them. They continue to insist they are infected, the doctors don't care, the tests are wrong, they are the one in a million case...etc, etc, etc. It's because the stress of being scared they may be infected causes physical symptoms so when they test negative they say, but I have symptoms, the test must be wrong. Sometimes they go so far that by the time they come to their senses they have lost jobs, spouses, families, friends, money, self respect. Don't let that happen to you.

Remember when a person is under stress, they don't take care of themselves as well and that leads to the body being more suscepitable to every little thing around.
