OK, here is what many will think is a DUMB question, but I wanted to ask anyway...Assuming penile/vaginal sex, for a man to catch the virus, he has to have an opening on his penis..assuming there is no cuts or open sores, then the only place it can enter is the tip of the penis..and if this is covered by latex, then how can it enter the bloodstream?..the only annswer I come back to is.. it CAN'T...am I wrong??
Thoughts..PLEASE...

Your question isn't dumb. And the answer you came up with is correct and shows common sense. It Can't.
That's the WHOLE point about condoms in relation to protecting against HIV infection. That's why testing isn't needed or recommended if your exposure is protected.
