OK, here is my deal...I have had a small red/pinkish area with very small slightly raised red bumps on my stomach for a month. The whole area is about the size of a quarter. It does not itch, but does feel a bit irritated at times The red/pinkish areas actually increases and ( gets brighter)then almost goes entirely away through out the course of the day. I now notice that I am getting a second area of the same thing. It also comes and goes. When I wake up in the morning, you can barely see anything! I have seen two dermos and they say it is nothing. I feel great otherwise and have always had protected sex. The last time I had sex was on January 25th.
What does and AIDS/HIV rash look like? Would it come and go like this and would it be present absent any other symptoms?
Please help.......

That isn't a rash associated with ARS. I guess I see so many questions about rashes because rashes are SOOOOOO common in both HIV- and HIV+ people.
One again, why even be worried when you always have protected sex.

Thank you...can you tell me what an HIV type rash looks like?..is it most prevalent during ARS, or when HIV infection goes from asyptomatic to AIDS? How long does it last..any info would be deeply appreciated.
Mant Thanks...

There really isn't anything such as an HIV rash. During ARS a sunburn like rash might show up on the trunk of the body for a few days. As far as other rashes, it is true that people with HIV seem to suffer slightly more from rashes than the general population, but they ARE THE SAME TYPE OF RASHS AND SKIN DISORDERS that people that don't have HIV suffer from. Because of that, obviously having a rash of any sort does not mean it has anything to do with HIV.
