I was wondering what exactly lymphocytes were. I got a CBC done and I got a reading on absolute lympocytes. I know there are different kinds of lymphocytes, so if someone can tell me what absolute means and what a good range is for this I would appreciate it.

lymphocytes are the fighter cells in the immune system. They are white blood cells.. a normal range is 20-45%. I had a cbc and my lymphocytes were low. I also tested negative after 5mo, 4 tests total. lower lymphocytes are usually found in people w/ hiv or aids.. I have all the symptoms of hiv and low lymphocytes but test negative? not sure what is going on w/ my body.. anyway.. best of luck to you..
