My husband and I have been married for five years and have both tested negative long after any possible exposures. About five months ago a female friend we have known around 8 years came over and we decided to have a 3some. It basically turned into them having sex since I could hardly keep my eyes open. My husband did use a condom when they had intercourse but he preformed oral sex on her not thinking that it was a risk. Needless to say I balled him out when he told me and made him donate blood about 23 days after(which I realize now was the wrong thing to do) I figured since we were both regular blood donors and since I had read they could detect it in your blood after 2 weeks with the new NAT testing which checks for actual genetic material that they would surley be able to detect it after 3 weeks plus a couple of days. I then had him go to the Health Dept. for a regular ELISA at 60 days it was also negative. Do you think that I need to make him go get tested again since it has been 5 months or should I just chill out!!! The woman he had sex with is kinda promiscuious and I don't think she has hiv but you never know what some one may have. I just wish he had enough sense to realize that having unprotected oral sex is a risk. It is not like we hadn't talked about the subject before. I am not really sure what I am asking for here but give me your honest opinions please. Thanks XOXO

If he used a condom you are fine... oral sex is a much more low risk exposure... have him test again and use a condom until you get the results back...
