about 5 months ago i engaged in risky sex (m2m)and recently have had a sore chest, mild temp and i can feel my nodes-not painful but i can tell something is going on.shpuld i be worried.

Your symptoms are very non-specific and 5 months is certainly too long for ARS to show. However if you have engaged in unprotected risky sex, then a test wouldn't be out of order. People who are not in a monogomous relationship and are sexually active should get checked as a routine matter anyway.

Why should they test? I think thats a personal matter not a matter of responsiblity or judgment. I beg to differ.

Routine testing for HIV is no different than routine PAP Smears, Mamograms, Prostate Exams, Cholesteral Blood Work, etc. We all know we should do them for our health. Whether we do or not is up to us.

Yes I did make a foolish mistake. I've learned a lot since then. Life goes on and maybe because I've been honest about my exposure I can help someone from making the same mistake.
