No symptoms after 4 weeks - good sign?

Hi all,
I don't want to sound repetitive since this may have already been touched on but I just had to know:
I had a possible exposure about 4 weeks ago when a condom
broke on me on a HIV+ receptive partner. So far, I haven't had any sign of "flu" or ARS.
I've been told by HIV hotline staff that that's a good sign.
Is this a promising sign or is it just hocus pocus - I understand that some people experience no symptoms for a long time ..only recently did I hear that this ARS thing has amounted to being some substantive indicator.
Appreciate all your feedback.

I know you've heard this before from me, but I think that's a pretty good sign. So do some other people on this board!
