Actually the most common disease here is possibly hypochondriasis. I've definately got tendencies towards that and in fact have seen someone for some Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. The list of diseases I've been convinced I have is really quite long. However, being a hypochondriac is possible while still being ill - hence the dilemna of many people here; you can't often tell the difference.
The test is only a week away, now!

Absolutely agree with you! I think I may be a hypochondriac or sorts myself. But that's why we have to learn to live with what the experts say. They definitely have a much less biased opinion on our risks and our test results than we do (for obvious reasons). So my advice is to listen to what they have to say. If they think you have to be tested, then get tested. And if they think you are ok (for example, after receiving negative results from a test) then we should believe them too! After all, they have nothing to gain by lying to you, and they are much more qualified than we are!
