White spots on the inner sides of lips

Hi ,

I was recently diagnosed with NGU a couple of weeks back.From day one , i have had these white spots under my lips.I have had exceptionally bad breath .

Could anybody please tell me what this is ? The doctor checked it out and said that is was just "fatty acids building up on the inner sides of the lips ".I can swear i didn't have it prior to the infection.

Also , im on DOXYCYCLINE tablets as part of the NGU treatment.Can anybody tell me if these white spots are part of my weakend immune system ?

Very Worried

Youre doctor is wrong? you are saying he is not telling you what it is? It is just what the doctor told you, it is not HIV, it is not a sign you are infected. Youre tongue will whiten up also, so dont freak out over that.

NGU is an inflammation of the urethra caused by a sexually transmitted infection by Chlamydia trachomatis. I believe NGU is treated with the same medication as Chlamydia
