scary news

here is a paste from Jackson Memorial in Florida about testing and the window period. What If “THE TEST” Is Negative?

If “THE TEST” is negative (shows no antibodies), it could mean two things:

You have been tested too early, before your body has made antibodies. “THE TEST” should be done three to six months or longer after you have been in contact with HIV. You could be in the Window Period.
You have not been infected with HIV.
What Is The Window Period?
It is the name used for the period from the time you come in contact with HIV to developing antibodies usually 2 weeks-6 months. No longer than a year.

WHAT DO YOU SUPPOSE THEY MEAN "NO LONGER THAN A YEAR"???

BETTER SOURCE new
      #5137 - 06/08/00 03:34 PM

Well buddy, i really suggest you to look out for other most respected sources. Want the most conservative good source? the CDC. You can also look hivinsite.com, the body.com or hopkins-aids.com. Also places in Canada endorsed by the government. But dont go looking for every place with the world hiv, because some of these places are outdated or just copy and paste other sites information without really knowing what they are talking about.
