I spoke to someone at CDC and they said if your only risk was having sex with someone with a condom, then they dont believe you to be any risk. Is this true, and if so then are condoms fullproof?

i think the stats are somewhere around condoms being 98.5% effective, so i guess you can say that you are at a 1.5% risk, don't worry because that brings on the same symtoms of hiv.

Is this the same person who's asking this question over and over again?
Anyway, the reason they say that condoms are effective 98.5% of the time is because the estimate is that they can fail (i.e. break) 1.5% of the time. If they don't break, they'll protect you well! Don't even start thinking of something like microscopic holes!
Don't worry!

Worrying in itself does not cause swollen lymph nodes but stress can lower your immune system and make you more prone to viruses. Stress is a little known contributer to some illnesses and I think that Western science is just beginning to understand its contribution to the human biological system. Also, a great deal of study has gone into psychosomatic illnesses and the anxiety of HIV CAN cause some of the symptoms of ARS. The important thing is to get tested and try not to worry.
