I herd that saliva will get extra bubbly when your body is fighting an infection. I heard that because your immune system is focusing on more important battles. The saliva tends to get neglected and excess bacteria will tend to build up.. This is also the same theory behind thrush..

I don't really buy that! First of all, why would more bacteria make your saliva bubbly? I mean, these are microscopic organisms. I don't think the first person should be worried because foamy saliva alone couldn't be indicative of HIV infection.
