I noticed that several people had been asking for information regarding the idea that an impaired immune system would explain seroconversion after 3 months or longer. Here is one post taken from Dr. Holodniy's site. I have seen several other similar posts.
HIV Antibodies
Question:
Dr. Holodniy Thank you for your service. I have read that the reason people do not develop HIV antibodies is that they already have a compromised immune system resulting from advanced AIDS or other diseases that impair the immune system. If this is true, is it correct to assume that normal healthy people will always develop HIV antibodies within the accepted "window period" time frame thus making the HIV antibody tests extremely accurate? JM

I doubt stress or STD coinfections would be a factor. Anything that makes B cells ( cells that make antibodies), or T cells and macrophages (cells that process foreign antigens) dysfunctional could affect seroconversion. Cancers, chemotherapy, underlying congenital immune deficiencies, liver diseases, might be on that list.

Thank you. Dr. Gallant by the way has also agreed about chemeotherapy but when I asked him to give me specific answers he didnt.

This was similar to the info that I posted that said people with healthy immune systems react faster to HIV. Great Work on providing credible info. This was why my doctor examined my liver. An enlarged liver can be a sign of a weakened immune system, he told me. Thanks to The Voice.
