Worried Wells help fight for a Cure

His policy on stem cell medical research is hindering progress that will eventually lead to cures and advanced treatments for Heart Disease, Cancer, HIV/AIDS, and a number of auto-immune and genetic diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Diabetes, MS, Lupus, Arthritis, and even spinal cord injuries...Just to name a few...
These policies are also devastating the United States Biotechnology sector of the economy. US companies are falling way behind in stem cell research, and many of the top scientists are leaving for companies outside the US
where such research is not limited.
If you know anyone suffering from any of these diseases, I would urge you to sign this. We are on the brink of a medical revolution that is being blocked by our own governments policies.

This is correct, embryonic stem cells show the potential to regrow or reboot the immune system in those with immunodeficinceies such as hiv, thus the possibility to preventing HIV from ever developing into AIDS is a great possibility...This would be a huge step in both controlling the spread of the virus, as well as allowing those already infected to live full lives. More funding is needed, as we should already be at the point of clinical trials by now...

Screw BUSh. The problem is not w/ him he made it clear to us what he stood for before getting elected. the problem is the ignorance of the American people who not only got him elected but also turned over Congress to te Republican NAZI"S. The hell w/ the US let us fall behind in science and allow other countries to overtake us. No problem though once they do Cowboy BUSH will just go bomb them.
Keep it up folks let's put him in there for anothr 4 and then his brother for 8 after that. After 16 years of Bushe's we are assured that the conservative values that us American's are so hungry for will take root and we will magically be transformed back 100 yeras. Isn't that the definition of Conservatism????

I support your position. I must, however, point out that you will never find a cures for 'AIDS' as the syndrome does not exist. It is now, as always, 29 old unrelated diseases that must each be tackled separately.

Bush gave science the stem cells already here that are altered so cannot become human beings. God does not want us to kill human life, and embryos are that.
