Heres and update of what Dr. Gallants said about the whole set up story (i think it was a setup, right?) of the late seroconversion.
Dr. gallantWhy did you answer that question? All of us in the Window period are now absolutely petrified about late seroconversion We were refered here by the am i infected forum in the body and after convincing ourselves that our 3 months test was very good now this! God Help us!
I'm sorry to have upset you, but there is absolutely nothing about that question or my answer that is at all inconsistent with anything I've said before. A negative serology at 3 months is extremely reassuring. But for a definitive answer, you need a negative test at 6 months. Get a grip!(And if it's really true that people at the Body are referring you to me for this kind of question, I'm going to have to have a talk with them.)
