I was just wondering...some people say after you get tested after 3 months and it's negative, that's a definite answer. Then I hear that it's 6 months? What is the truth? And are there any real cases of people testing positive after testing negative (after a 3 month period)?

Very, very rarely. So rarely in fact that they can almost always attribute it to a later exposure.

And in the rare cases, how long does this extend too. Is 6 months the cut off , for the rest of them? I had a negative antibody at 11 months with no other exposure but still have some minor symptoms? Am I done testing

It's not HIV and your symptoms might be from something else..maybe stress.
