Hi everyone, I have read some questions posted to me. Well i did not expcet to hear that some of you dont believe my results. That is absolutely absturd! Why would someone me in this case, go so far as to say they were infected and that they really wrent? I know i wouldnt. I wish that I didnt even have to come here and talk about this. I indeed did contract HIV and I am open to asnwer any questions.
Yes my exposure was withing the US with a girl from here also, but what does that really mean after I have thought about it and believe me I have thought about it. How do any of us no where the other has been? I made the mistake of having unprotected sex now I have to deal with it. Dye from it actually not a fun thing to think about right? So then I ask you why would I lie? Well I will answer oyu I wouldnt. THe test that they ran was indeed a pert test with another involved also. It has not matched any commonality with the markers that we know about, and YES you will be hearing about my case very very soon. My doctor is devoting alot of time to my case and yes she is in contact with top HIV/AIDS doctors in the US. I am scheduled to be flown to New YOrk to see a doctor there tht is very famous amongst HIV community, his name eludes me at the moment for I didnt relly catch it and write it down. My doctor is going with me to participate in the visits. SO yes you will be hearing about my case very soon. What are they going to print now? SOmeone has contracted HIV that we dont know about? They are waiting to get more information to fill in the holes to all of the upcoming questions that will be asked.
So I ask you poeple does anyone want ot take my place? I would gladly give it to any of you that dont believe me for I would luv for you to see that I am not a liar, i would much rather be sitting where you are calling me a liar but infortunately I dont have that luxury this time.
Please feel free to ask questions to me about my Acute symptoms or anything else you want but I simply cannot givce out my doctors name that is very private, HIV is still stigmatized and being heterosexual I dont want people to think I am gay, this is a shamefu; diesease being that most of us positive bring it on ourselves because it is accquired we wernt born with it.
I can really be a big help in explaining what I have gone through. I have learned that the severity of Acute symptoms varies some worse than others but ALL experience some really heavy illnesses during the acute phase. I will help anyway I can if you would like.
I think someone asked what my T-cells were, they were 700 first then fell to about 650 but havent been monitored closely as of yeet b/c of the difficulty diagnosing my case..... my cd8 were around 400 both times, and remember that some poeples immune systems are stronger than others. WHile mine were 700 initially anothers might be 400, and anothers might be 1100, they vary depending on each person.
My acute illnesses may have been worse than others also depending on the strain. there are ALOT of factors in this disease. Please write back but PLEASE no more negative comments I am here to help and share for education not to be called a liar and said mean things about. I really dont want to go thorugh this i have contemplated ending it all numerous times but have hung in here thus far so please only encouragement or postive quesitons will be answered by me. I have alot of information to share, and trust me I will make headlines in the world of HIV unfortunately. And those who simply couldnt believe it here first you will be eating your words, also the thoery of late seroconversion for you that worry about that, it simply doesnt happen. If you have HIV it will manifest itself within 3 months on tests, rarely and even never takes longer than 6 months. Also it takes sexual intercourse to catch HIV so questions about biting, and even oral just doesnt happen.

Will, sorry to be so harsh, but you will not get positive comments until you did not clarify things. You have not answered even one of the questions me and others have raised.
So again, here are mine. Sorry to blackmail you but if you don't answer them we can safely assume you are lying. There is now way of changing that.
1. you said you HAVE NEVER POSTED before (you wrote: "This is my first time posting here so I don't know what to expect. I got this website from my counselor yesterday evening").
Now that is obviously NOT TRUE! In fact you posted as Anonymous on 10/17/02 05:56 PM the thread "G-Man answer pleae sir", telling your story (ulcer 2 inches in moth, rash on forhead, even CD4 counts where the same as in "Williams First posting").
SO WAS IT YOUR FIRST POSTING YES OR NO?? And if no, why did you lie and why should we believe you NOW??
2. you say you want to "help" people in similar positions. The first step to do so would be to exchange doctor's adresses via **private e-mail**. I even go so far to say that IT WOULD BE YOUR MORAL OBLIGATION if you where infected with a rare strain and others are begging you for connecting to your clever doc.
Furthermore the exchange of anonymous medical data it is a very common procedure in medical research.
And if you fear about your privacy: your doc would NEVER give away personal data (only the essential medical data of "the case"!)
Or could you at least give us the name of any other of the ID's involved? Oh a yea, you forgot the name of the New York based doc. Please check for his name and be sure i will call his office. OHh, could that be a reason why you forgot his name? YES or NO?
(Dont forget NYC is far away from you so PRIVACY IS NO EXCUSE HERE.)
Remark: Why is this so important: If you want to HELP (you are telling us that over and over again) ANOTHER PERSON who might be in a similar position like you, then you must build up confidence first. Please understand, everybody could come and say anything.
3. in your post to gman you stated: "Should I do a viral culture?" Sounds like a very active patient who tries to be on top of things
But in his last mail you stated "...and they ran a test i think called a P.E.R.T test on me i dont even know where they sent it too" - Why so passive? Why do you just *think* its a PERT test when you were very aware of PERT testing some weeks ago.
4. in your first post you mentioned positive Wester Blot tests - he didn't you mention that in his recent post. Why? because it did not fit to your "new strain" story you want to spread? RIGHT OR WRONG?
5. In my last post i speculated that your doc would not be so stupid to diagnose you with HIV after a pos PERT test. She would first rule out all other Retroviruses (HepC, HTLV, etc.)
Now you corrected that fact after i mentioned that in one of my posting... RIGHT OR WRONG?
6. now, suddenly, from Saturday to Sunday your CD4 dropped from 700 to 650? How did you get your counts on SUNDAY? Please tell me that name of the lab wich calls you or your doc on Sunday?
Please answer the questions. if you can prove me wrong, do it please.

Nice that you found out that ARS can be different from person to person - maybe you should publish that too.
*) you say "and even oral just doesnt happen". Oral sex is a risk, especially cunnelingus. Just take the percentage of days per month a woman has her period and you have got the risk factor.

PS: your posting does not scare me. I was living in hell for months, have blood counts that really shocked some of my doctors - so please believe me a single posting from an anonymous person on a web board like this one does not scare me.

You mean to say the you didn't make sure you 'caught' the name of a doctor that may be your only link to life. The person you are making a journey (not just across town) to see. How very odd.
Your here to educate? I would think most people newly postive would be in a learning mode themselves with very little time to be such a humanitarian. Especially with the situation you have. It seems you know little about your own situation and would be more interested in learning about that. Seeking help, support and advice from people that are positive about what it's like to be positive. Instead you choose to post to the am i infected in order to educate them. How noble.

Telling us your symptoms is no help. We know all about ARS and also how the stress of an unsure diagnosis can cause all kinds of severe symptoms worse than ARS. So if you want to help you'll need to be one of the miraculous who actually tested pos. That's the ONLY mystery,and the ONLY information that would be of help. And it would be and amazing phenomenon. Anything scientific requires proof. You offer none. And from the way your postings sound, it appears you're of extremely low IQ and probably couldn't get any facts straight anyway.

Yes indded I had a positive western blot. NO i didnt have my labs done on sunday they were done 1 month after the first set. No Do I believe that you are entitled to my "essential" medical data that is for my doctor not you you arent treating me. So Joe if you dont believe i am infected i dont care whats more important is that i am. Co'om now why would I make this up?

"com on now, why would I make this up?" To cause some scandal. To get everyone to talk to you, tho they all want to know the same FACTS. We don't need your Dr.'s name and address so get off that. Just some basic questions that show you have some savy on this subject. So far you sound just like someone out for attention, nothing more...you've brought nothing good to this board just lies and ignorance. Anyone with half a brain could answer the questions.
