They Yet Exist???
      #42300 - 10/24/02 08:00 AM

Listen, there are still people who take longer than 3 months to seronvert. I just read a question to one of the HIV doctors where this guy had a know exposure to HIV and he was experiencing symptoms and tested negative at 3 months. Doc told him to retest at 6. They yet exist. Very, Very rarely, but they exist.

But did he test positive at 6 months? You don't know.

The CDC says if it's a KNOWN exposure and a person is still having symptoms and a doctor feels the need a 6 month test may be in order. Doesn't mean they will test positive. No one has yet, it's just a safety measure because the person had a KNOWN exposure.
