Could having hsv2 delay hiv antibody results(keep coming up negative but positve)? And could a low white blood cell count 3.9 normal is 3.8- 10.5 be a sign of possible aids or hiv becoming aids even though negative on antibody test and negative on pcr? Thank you and GOD Bless.

If your were at the point of converting from hiv to aids, you would definitly have tested positive at some point, especially with a pcr. how long ago was your possible exposure? that could help answer this.

No, HSV does not delay seroconversion. Your white cell count is not low, it is within the normal range.

i have herpes2 - genitally and herpes 1 orally. herpes has nothing to do with results with an hiv test outcome. i dont know anything about low blood counts but hiv results are not influeneced by herpes 1 or 2 - they are 2 different things and have no effect on the testing outcome of an hiv test. chichi
