It's virtually impossible to get HIV from someone giving you head. Have never heard of a case of someone getting HIV through saliva, even through a bite. Please get on with your lives. There are those of us who have actually been exposed to semen and blood, we're the ones who should be worried

I can just talk from my point of view, as I recieved (got sucked) by a sex worker who probably was infected. I wouldn't be worried, but I've had dozens of partners before my current one and never before I've had any symptoms. Ofcource my symptoms can be triggered just becouse she told me afterwards she was infected. My 2 months test was negative, and now it's 9 months when it happened. Blood tests were taken wednesday, and I will hear results today or monday. At the moment my life has stopped totally. I can't consentrate on anything before I get the results.
I guess it would make my the first person to be infected by fellatio, and at the moment I don't think it's impossible.
So it's easy to say 'just a blowjob - no risk', but experiencing this fear personally puts me to same boat with the ones who have done other forms of sex.
I wish all people who consider unprotected sex with a stranger would read this message board even once - just to see the fear what people have -maybe, just maybe, they would think twice before having unprotected sex with strangers.

I agree with Mark. This board is for those asking the question "Am I Infected?"
Other boards on this Site address the needs of those actually infected. By voicing our concerns and "connecting to others" we are supporting one another. I think this board can address the oral sex infection question whether recepter or Inserter. There is nothing wrong with oral sex questions on this posting board. Few sites address the issue of "Am I Infected?" and most are entirely dedicated to the infected. So let us have this little piece to hash out our concerns and fears.

I got my result for bloodtest.
I am negative! I cannot describe my feelings at the
moment. Nine months of hell is now behind. I want to
thank all you wonderful people giving support for the
ones who live in fear. This board has been my mental
support for this spring.
I will start living again and appriciate what I've been
given - the life itself.

Congragulations on your results. I agree with you completely... if people were shown this board before getting involved in sex acts with stranger they would be stupid to do anything sexual with someone they do not have full confidence in. Take care of yourself...
