I have heard that barbacking is not as high risk as it use to be and that getting hiv is no big deal as they now hav meds that keep it under control. I'm 17 years old and my friends at skool don't even care about hiv so why should I?

As far as I know. If your positive then I see no reason to practice safe sex. I think re-infection is a thing of the past that was once a concern.

Anyone who thinks that HIV is no big deal is a FOOL!!! The medicince is better than before but they do not work for everyone, yes people still die from AIDS!!!!! The medicine has serious side effects for those who do take it. Some side effects are so sever that many have opted to not take meds and die!!!!!!! Your friend is very uninformed and needs to be more informed. YA HEARD ME!!!!

New studies are showing that there is no connection between barebacking and hiv transmission. So ya I would not worry because stress is not good for your health.

my definition of "barebacking" means having sex without a condom, hence the word "bare". Now unless you are completely stupid or just trying to piss off the serious people on this site, you will not have sex of any type without using a condom. That is the very definition of hiv transmission.
