I heard that they may change testing guidlines to only include rare cases of blood transmittions. That hiv rates are very low and that thet tesing company is being sued by several people in a class action suite for false claims.

I read that in Time magazine that the manufactors of the HIV test say that they have a dsiclaimer on the test package that nobody sees that states that the test does not actually test for hiv and can react to over 30 conditions including stress. This mean that everybody who tested positive should re-test or re-consider their diagnosis. We will have to see what happens I guess.

i MUST read this article because it doesn't sound like much more than a misconstrued interpretation from a dissident trying to shake the foundation of Aids, Inc. by posting such ground-breaking news. like you say, i guess we'll have to wait and see. just don't hold your breath!

It's not news the that ELISA can produce false positives. That's why any positive ELISA HAS TO BE CONFIRMED with a WB. Unless the WB is positive then a persons test is considered negative.

I have been unable to find that article in either old Time magazines, or on their website. Perhaps you would be so kind as to tell us the date and article title?
