I'm so sorry that you guys are going through such a tough time. I was wondering if either of you have ever tested for Leukemia or other blood disorders? Maybe it's not HIV but something else and because you guys have been obsessed with HIV you haven't thought of anything else.
Again, I can only imagine how difficult and scary this must be and my prayers are with you! Best of luck.

yes, your quite correct!,but i have been to a top hemotologist in london.she tested my blood and said i was fine.it cost me like at least 450 dollars, then two weeks later i collasped in the street with a high fever, ive just spent 12 days in hospital, they took blood almost everyday, then they found zero, they still kicked me out, with the same fever i went in with.uk hospitals are very, very sad places, but i cant afford £500 per night for a nice place.im poor, so.......suffer!.

I'm truly anm sorry to hear your story too John. We must be strong my friend. I just feel for my wife. She is stumped too and we want to start a family. My other symptoms have been swollen nodes for years (doctors say they aren't, but I know), floaters & eye problems (opthamologist 2 weeks ago said they were fine, just some thinning of the retina, please, please say it isn't CMV). I follow up with him in a few weeks. I just am tired of having a sad heart for so long.

John, I really feel for you. I truly hope this all works out. I still don't think you have HIV but maybe something else. If HIV was this hard to detect how come 40 million people have been detected? I'm not a doctor but could stress have done this? I just refuse to believe that in all the advancements that were made there are still people who cannot be picked up by the current tests on the market. Hang in there guys and keep us posted.

hi,you know you can have a blood test for cmv,if its not in your blood then you are ok.also cmv eye infection is only a danger with <200 cd4,s.also floaters have"nothing to do with CMV.HAVE YOU BEEN TESTED FOR HIV,HAVE YOU HAD AT CELL COUNT.IF YOUR TCELL COUNT IS GOOD...DO NOT WORRY ABOUT CMV. CMV IS SPOTTED STRIGHT AWAY,IT LOOKS LIKE SCRAMBLED EGGS. ANY EYE DOCTOR WOULD SPOT IT!,IT DOES NOT HIDE.PLEASE WRITE BACK I WANT TO HELP YOU MY BROTHER......I WANT TO EASE YOUR PAIN.....JOHN
