TO My story poster
      #39943 - 09/13/02 03:00 AM

To the poster that wrote his story about his exposure in 94. Despite neg test's sound like you have HIV. Tcell of 150 and all your symptoms are immune defiecient problems equally HIV. There are many of people in your situation all HIV positive but the standard serology are repeatedly showing negative and doctors are telling false information that you are HIV free but in fact you have HIV your cell count indicates you clincally have developed AIDS below 200 or 14% is AIDS. YOu need to get to a serious HIV specialist and start treatment althoug if they cant find a VL treatment is going to be hard to monitor the progress of drugs. Your situation sounds very bleak but maybe your case of AIDS will inspire doctors to consider that the virus can and does exist in many different types instead of B type that is so focused on and others will not have to die in vain saying that they are crazy get on with your life. Look at a poor poster that is on here also a guy named John in London he has HIV also and noone believes his story but some of us do believe him he has HIV and needs help but again without a marker for disease progression and treatment he to will become a statistic instead of a martyr if we dont get cases like yours and his to the front of attention from so called specialists. Being rare doesnt mean non existent and doctors need to learn this. Good luck on handling your HIV maybe you can get together with others in your situation with HIV and help them like John and we can get something done for people that have HIV but needs to have different tests' to find this so they are not called crazy. I am not a doctor but know enough about this that your in a bad situation you have developed AIDS and still test negative but that does not mean that its not there this is a virus and has many faces I personall think medical professions know this but dont want to stirr up more panic than needed. So how many have to die before they recognize this problem? So far Your story and John in London are the only 2 known about for sure on this board. GOod Luck and keep us posted daily if you can.
