Hi
I have read alot of the post in this forum and I would love some help. Here's my story.
I had unprotected oral sex with a man, both giving with cum spit and reseptive. This was a one time thing. Later I found out that he was +. Total in pure shock I had the test after 45 days and it came back neg. I know not to look at symptoms but like some of you have alot of them. soar throat, night sweats, swollen nodes in my neek, white tongue. I feel absolutey terrible and would appriecite any advice on how to deal with this time between tests. I know my risk is so high .. ug

Hey, hang in there. A test at 45 days is like 6 1/2 weeks. That's a valuable test. So say the doctors at Northwestern Memorial in Chicago, which is a teaching hospital and has an AIDS Center. My point is, they know what they're talking about.
That doesn't mean it's conclusive. You will want to get another test at 3 months, of course. I hope everything will be all right.
Remember that oral sex is still lower risk than other forms of sex.
My 3 month test was today, and I will have results by Thursday. I pray I will be all right, just as I pray for you, too!
