Does anyone know who the ARS virus is transmitted? What is the most risky way of contracting it? Is it sexually transmitted? I'm so confused??

I though ARS was a syndrome not an actual virus but I could be wrong.

ARS = acute retroviral syndrome. It is the illness that may be manifested when a person is first infected by hiv. It appears about 2 weeks after you are infected by hiv. Having said that, not everyone who gets infected with hiv has symptoms of ARS. Hiv may be transmitted sexually or via blood.
