Well just came back from the doc,and he finally admitted he thinks i have some kind of liver problem. He's doing more tests.Hep b hepc and yes jackie another hiv also he's checking my liver enzymes,Im at 41 weeks after the possible exposure,I still don't get the possible exposure crap it could just as well be a definte exposure who's to know. And yes my doc said that people can take longer then 6 months to produce antibody's for hep c but he's pretty confident about the 6 month hiv test,UNLESS you have a co-infection and thats not all that rare.My last tests were at 33 weeks and were neg,Ive never had my liver enzymes tested before. At least my doc is starting to believe me thats somthing is happening. Now i just have to wait another 2 weeks for results. Will this nightmare ever end.

YOU have HIV, better get started on therapy ASAP or else you will lose valuable time. Liver problems are a tip off to HIV infection after an exposure. Good luck on your positive result.

A couple of years ago a friend of mine was diagnosed with hep C. She went in for a regular check-up with her doctor and asked to be tested for all std's. She didn't have any symptoms at all and still doesn't have any.
