Hi, I've had an HIV test at nearly 5 months after the incident, but I have developed this funny skin rash, which looks a little like chicken pox, all over my body. It's been here for a couple of months, and is getting worse. I also have sores in my hair. Could this still be hiv-related? I guess I won't know until the next test in a few weeks.

I firmly believe that a - test at 5 months is almost 100% accurate. I would see a doctor about the rash but not worry much about teh HIV.

Hey, I had the same thing after a potential exposure. No other symptoms except what you describe. I have tested negative at 3, 4, and 7 mo. Were you negative at your 5mo test?

It wasn't quite 5 months, but almost, and I did test negative. So, I'm taking another in a few weeks and hopefully that one will be negative, too.

Hey guy, I'm the one with the similar skin problems. Email me, I'd be interested to hear about it jason19691969@hotmail.com
