Someone please tell me what oral thrush looks like and if it is painful?

As far as I know oral thrush looks cottage cheesy. It sticks to your tongue and is hard to brush off. I do not know for sure wheather it is painful or not. Oral thrush can be cause by many things, antibiotic usage, bad oral hygiene, smoking. There are a number of things it can be associated with. Do not try to assume you have HIV/AIDS based off of this. Assume you don't have HIV until you take the test. However, do be careful with any sexual partners you do have until you know for sure.
