My girlfriend tested positive on elisa at two labs. But both the labs separately send it for western blot to the same lab, The two western blot reports came back negative,
Do we need to worry. I also on receiving the elisa report of my girlfriend went to do rapid hemastrip test on myself . It also came back negative,
Do we have to worry?
We are together for 8 months and never cheated.

It doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about since you have been together 8 months. However, if a person has a positive Elisa and a negative WB, they are counseled to test again in a few months. If the results are the same she would be considered negative. This is a case where you really need to seek the advice of a health care professional that works with HIV, not a general practioner.

Many people including myself have recieved "false Positives" and then negative. The test is not accurate at all. Research reasearch and do more research on the test and you will find alot of false test results.
