neg elisa @12 weeks .....
      #38396 - 08/18/02 12:24 PM

if i tested neg at exactly 12 weeks (84 days) with a elisa test, will my 6 month elisa test be neg as well? i have not had any sex since my possible expousure - vaginal sex, no condom but the guy pulled out but i am still scared. does neg at 3 months = neg at 6 months? i dont even know this guys status - he says he is neg but im so scared. any thoughts? i will test again the first week in oct just to make sure i am past the 6 month mark.

Congrats on the fact you are NOT infected! If you want to test at 6 months for peace of mind go for it. That's all it's for...3 months is considered conclusive. 6 months is just icing on the cake.

What do you mean your test "came back negative, then positive again"? That doesn't make any sense?

You never mentioned ever having received a postive result. Most people would have focused on that and would have mentioned that first off. Not asking if a negative would remain a negative.

At what point were these tests done? And what type. What did your doctor say to you about the 2nd one being positive.

Sorry if this isn't the case, but I get the feeling this is a set up. First you ask about odds of a negative 6 month after a negative 3 month. Then oh, by the way, on another post you just happen to mention one was positive. When asked about that you expound further to say the first was negative, the second was positive. Unlike most posters, you don't give any real information. Dates, test types, etc. This whole business about the 2nd being positive makes no sense.

Forgive me, but, you are either denser than a block or on great sedatives, or this is a set up. I've never seen anyone react to a positive result with such a causual attitude. On the little amount of information you have supplied it would seem you need to be posting on the 'Just Tested Positive' Board, not the 'Am I Infected' Board. But since you haven't bothered to supply concrete information or what your 'doctor' told you it's hard to say.

Opps, I must have missed the big sign at the beginning saying 'DOCTORS ONLY CAN POST' Sorry.

Never said I was a doctor. If you're so ill, I guess you've missed all the times I've told people to see a doctor. But then it does seem that would be possible since you dissidents seem to suffer from selected reading and recall ability. Perhaps you are so ill because of your views and lack of health care.

You all have tried that 'Jackie's not a doctor thing before' What's wrong run out of new stuff?

Lackie: "Forgive me, but, you [Dissident] are either denser than a block or on great sedatives, or this is a set up...."

Yes, you AIDS Apologists are always accusing Dissidents of being involved in some conspiracy to 'set you up' since we consumers are no longer stakeholders when we become Dissidents, and infact, are only manipulated by bad, evil Denialists in forgoing the 'life-saving' chemo-therapeutic cocktail 'treatments' and never make informed choices as Dissidents. And you were right about one thing, with 99.99% of the health care budget going toward conventional, pharmaceutically-based care and none going toward alternative health care, and 50% of those [mis]diagnosed with 'HIV/AIDS' and 40-69% of Americans sharing some form of alternative health care philosophy and practise, we represent the largest underserved and underepresented affected populations having NO access to primary [alternative] health care.
