Night Sweats - for Jackie Blue

I just saw your response to someone else about night sweats and it got me worried because my boyfriend just had that. It's been about three months since his last sexual encounter but the other day he told me he felt weak and feverish. He took some flu medicine and then woke up around 3am (and I woke up too) and he was completely soaked in sweat, sheets, pillow, shirt, and everything. I've never seen anything like it. The next day he was fine and not sick anymore but I am worried anyway. He told me this is what happens when he gets sick, and it also happened about a month ago too - he thought it was from playing tennis at night in really hot weather and sweating a lot. But could this be a sign of ARS even after two and three months? He didn't have any other symptoms that I could tell. Thank you!

3 months is a little long for ARS to show up. His symptoms could have been from a 'flu bug' of some kind. You know the ones that take you down for just a day or so, then you feel fine.
That being said, If he's ever had unprotected sex it wouldn't hurt to get a test.

thanks jackie. he was tested about 1.5 or 2 months after exposure and then he got sick. so i'm assuming he's fine but i talked to him and we're both getting tested again just to be sure (even though i am nervous about that too!)
